Sound familiar?
Most kids aren't unfriendly. Nobody showed them how.
Making friends is a social skill made of small, learnable moves. Kids who struggle usually miss one or two of them, and the kit teaches each social skill on purpose — the way you'd teach any other skill.
Before
- Comes home and says "nobody played with me"
- Hovers near a group but never asks to join
- Has one friend, and it falls apart after one fight
- Gets left out of the group chat and the birthday invites
- You lie awake wondering what to say
After
- Knows three easy ways to start a conversation
- Asks to join a game and handles a "no" calmly
- Fixes small fights instead of losing the friend
- Spots kind kids and invites them over
- You have the exact words for each hard moment
What your child will learn
Four skills, in the order friendships happen.
Notice
- Read faces and body language
- Find kids with shared interests
- Tell a kind friend from an unkind one
Join in
- Openers that work at recess
- Ask to join a game already going
- Bounce back from a "no"
Keep it going
- Take turns talking and listening
- Share, compromise and lose a game well
- Turn a school friend into a playdate
Repair
- Say sorry in a way that lands
- Handle teasing and being left out
- Know when to walk away

Parent scripts

Standing Strong: the bullying module
A bonus lesson that teaches the difference between a mean moment and real bullying — and the three protective moves: stand tall and speak, walk to safety, and tell a grown-up (and keep telling). With extra parent scripts for talking to the school.
Meet the creator
Hi, I'm Sam A.M.
I run a soccer club in Santa Monica, California — and every week, out on the field, I watch the very moments this kit is about. The shy kid hovering at the edge of a game. The first brave "Can I play?" The little fight… and the making up.
Friendship works exactly like soccer: nobody is born knowing the moves, but every kid can learn them. I made KiddoFriendz to bring the moves that work on the field home to your kitchen table — one small, kind step at a time.
My advice to parents — it's the title of my book, too: "Buy friends for your kids, if you can."

The kit is an education resource for families. It doesn't replace a doctor, therapist or school counsellor.
Questions
Before you start
What age is it for?
Kids aged 5 to 12. Younger kids watch the videos with you and use the cards. Older kids can do the workbook on their own.
How much time does it take?
About 15 minutes a day: one short video and one activity. Most families finish in four weeks and come back to the repair lessons when they need them.
My child is very shy. Will it still help?
Yes. Every skill starts small, like smiling at one classmate, and builds up slowly. Nothing asks your child to perform in front of a group.
How do I get the kit?
Right after checkout you get an email with your login. The videos stream on any phone, tablet or computer, and the workbook and cards are PDFs you can print at home.
What if it doesn't work for us?
